Halloween Fun!

Unfortunatley we did not follow through with many of our Halloween traditions this year. We didn't carve or paint pumpkins, we didn't go to the pumpkin patch, and we didn't put up any Halloween decorations. I'm going to blame it all on the pregnancy and sicknesses. Fortunately Halloween day was so jam packed that I think my slacking was made up for. The boys were really looking forward to this day and being able to wear their costumes. Chase was a gangster, Gavin was Buzz Lightyear, and Wade was an elephant (or a "baby elephant" as he would say). So we got up early that morning and got Chase in his costume and sent him off to school. Then we hurried and got dressed and went to Chase's school to watch him in his parade and then help his class with their party. We had tons of fun at the party with lots of fun games, activities, and food. After the school party, we all went home for a much needed nap. When the boys all got up we ate dinner and then got back in our costumes for the ward Halloween party. We had a great time at the party and got lots of candy. On the way home from the party we stopped at Chase's friend's house and went through the haunted house they had set up in their garage. It was a fun way to end our eventful day!

Chase's class made a big spider web. They tied a ball of yarn around their waist and then threw their ball of yarn to someone else, they kept picking up a ball of yarn and throwing it until they had a big spider web. They loved it!

We did have one issue... both Chase and Gavin's costumes came with a gun. Wade was so upset that his costume didn't have a gun that he was in tears...


So Spencer found him an 'elephant gun' and all was well again.
