Santa to the Rescue!

Last night we got a visit from Santa on a firetruck! My good friend, April, whose husband is a fireman for one of the local stations informed me that the firemen and Santa were going to be driving around the streets in the area to visit the community. Darryl and Michelle came over with their kids to ride bikes and scooters for a while before Santa came.

We kept hearing the sirens all night and we couldn't wait for them to get to our street. Finally here they come down our street! There were about 5 firetrucks and they all had their lights and sirens going!

The boys were excited to see Santa and get a candy cane from him. Santa to the Rescue!

About a week ago we sat the boys down and explained to them that there are some little kids that might not be able to afford presents for Christmas. So we told them we were going to pick out a few toys at the store to donate for those kids. Of course they didn't fully understand that because "Santa brings everyone presents" right? But when we got to the store they had a great time picking out toys to donate. So Chase was excited to give our bag of toys to the Santa on the firetruck so he could give them to other boys and girls.

I can't believe you posted a picture of my beautiful children standing next to your funktified kids, it really doesn't make your kids look too good. :)
Do you think other people read the comments we leave on each other's blogs and think "what the heck is their problem?" hahahaha :)

What a neat experience for the boys.

My kids love doing that every year! We try to adopt families who have kids their age so they can pick something special for someone just like them! I love doing that!
