Christmas Photo Shoot

I decided to take the boys to Oak Glen to take some 'Christmas photos'. To get the best lighting we had to go while Spencer was still at work. I worked really hard to match their outfits. We drove to Oak Glen in our undies with our clothes on hangers so we wouldn't wrinkle our outfits. It was pretty cold when we got there and we didn't have much light left, but I was determined to get a really cute picture of the boys. I was so excited, I could almost see all of the cute pictures I was going to get in my head. So I quickly got them dressed one by one. We found a great spot and I was ready! Unfortunately Wade did not finish his nap and soon realized this was not what he wanted to be doing. In spite of the cold weather, I could feel the sweat beads forming. The photo shoot didn't go exactly as I had envisioned. It went something like this...

Wade was such a stinker and would not stop crying. Ughh, I got so frustrated! Which of these should I frame and hang on my wall???

I took (okay, threw) Wade out of the picture and got some cute pictures of Chase and Gavin. Only problem... Gavin has a talent for looking away right before the picture is snapped.

We tried props as a distraction from the crying which seemed to work great... if only I could photoshop out the leaves on these cute pictures...

So I took the props away... not so great.

Finally everyone was decently happy, but if I have to say, "LOOK AT THE CAMERA!" one more time I'm gonna scream.

When all the posing and picture taking was over, the boys were ready to go home!

After a long, hard, and frustrating days work I was only happy with one photo of the three of them...
