On New Year's Day we decided to head up to Big Bear to play in the snow. Apparently everyone else had the idea too. When we got to the base of the mountain traffic was completely stopped. So we took the other way up the mountain to Arrowhead instead... no traffic at all. We stopped and bought a couple of sleds and found a great secluded spot to sled. I don't believe Wade has ever been in snow, other than stopping on the side of the road on the way home from Utah to touch some snow. It had been awhile for Chase and Gavin too. So the boys were WAY excited to be in the snow. When we got there they just threw themselves onto the snow making snow angels and just sliding around. They had a blast on the sleds!

Sledding with daddy. I was so jealous of all the fun. I desperately wanted to jump on the sled, but Spencer was careful to help me so I wouldn't fall just walking.

Wade. In the end Spencer resorted to taking Wade in his arms and sliding him down the hill for more speed.

FUN! We had plans to do that too but we thought the same thing about the crowds so we didnt go. What new program are you using? Im lovin it!
The snow is always fun, as long as you don't have to live in it.
Looks like fun...too bad it wasn't Utah snow...we had a TON this year for a little while. We are now on a heat wave and it feels like March with us sitting at 40-50 degrees!
