For Labor Day weekend, and our last big hoorah for the summer we took a road trip to my sister's house in St. George. Spencer couldn't come because he was going dove hunting in Arizona so my mom came with us. We had such a great time and appreciate my sister and her family for letting us crash her pad (and I do mean crash)! There are so many fun things to do in St. George. We went to the local high school the first day and swam in the huge pool and went on the waterslide. Then of course that night we had to do this vacation in complete 'Nelson style' with a trip to the emergency room. Wade smashed his forehead into my sister's fireplace and cut it open. They gave me the option of stitches or glue. I chose glue figuring it would be much easier on Wade. So the next day our plans of swimming at the rec center were ruined since Wade couldn't get his head wet. We met up with our friend Trisha and her kids for lunch and then went to Jumping Jack's instead. We had a great time with everyone. My sister even caught a frog in her neighbor's yard and put it in her tub. The boys thought this was pretty cool. We completed our trip the next day with some shopping (my favorite) at some really cool home stores. This was a perfect way to end our summer!
Too many kids in the tub!

How fun to spend your last few days of summer with family.
We're so glad you came. We had a lot of fun.
Oh, maybe next time nobody will have stitches and we'll be able to go to the rec center.
HAhahaha Wade is such a stud. Can I please marry him? Looks like you guys had lots of fun in Utah! And Chase is such a sweetheart! He looks so handsome with his new school outfit (I'm assuming) haha and his hair all nice, and WHAT?!?! Gav's hair is SHORT! cute!!!
I am glad to see that you stick with Nelson tradition. Spencer was always a klutz but he usually managed to save himself right before injury. Maybe your boys will develop the skill.
