While daddy was away dove hunting I decided to take the boys to do some fun things. I've been wanting to check out the CA Science Center before school started again so that's where we headed. It is such a cool place and the boys (and I) were entertained for hours! We will definitely be going there again! Here's some of the fun things we got to see/do...
Out in front
The boys wanted to rock climb first. MOST everything was free, rock climbing was $3. Chase made it all the way to the top to ring the bell. It was a high wall!

Gavin went next. He was a little more nervous about the height.

One of the coolest things was that we got to be in a simulated earthquake. After, we got to build a house and then see if it would stand in an earthquake.
Ours didn't quite make it!
Listening to some different size tubes to see what we could hear. The boys said they could hear jets.
We got to see different size brains for different creatures. The human's was the biggest.

Checking out what fish would do when we hit the currant button.
Frogs
Animal & insect eggs
A (stuffed) bobcat
The boys got to drive these cars around this track.
How high can you make the rocket go?

(Chase)

Inside of a cockroach
Inside of a Salamander
Gavin on TV (Chase was the cameraman)
Even Ezra had a great time!
Building on the playhouse

Chase looking for cocoons and butterflies. I see you!

Computer center. Lots of fun educational games.

Making crafts
Wade in the toddler area
Checking out different insects/reptiles.
Fun in the Tree House. (Chase looking at me through the binoculars)
Touching a cockroach!
Watching the screens to learn about our bodies.
Outside the boys got to pull on these ropes to see if they could lift the maroon truck in the background. With all 3 of them putting all of their weight on the ropes they were able to get the truck off the ground (barely).

I'm still amazed that you can survive taking 3 kids and a baby anywhere for more than 30 minutes all by yourself. I loose my mind with just two. Super MOM!
This place looks a lot like the discovery museum we went to in Utah. Where's it at? You got balls takin' all them to a place like that by yourself...no thanks! :)
Looks like fun! My kids love the museums too...they are the best! We have a couple of really cool ones...next time you visit we need to check them out.
What an amazing place. I miss all the fun places to go in Cali. You're braze to take all your kids by yourself. They must be good.
You are such a fun mommy!
